William Jackson Harper Joins Ant-Man 3 in Secret Role

Marvel is already anticipating the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in February, but a new piece of casting news has everyone speculating about an incoming character online.

According to Variety, William Jackson Harper (A Good Place) has been cast in a role in Ant-Man 3. No details have been revealed about the character, but a lot of fans are already suspecting that he could be the MCU’s main timeline Reed Richards.

In the comics, Kang the Conqueror was revealed to be a descendant of Reed Richards, and even before Harper was said to be joining the MCU, fans had already suspected that Jonathan Majors could be double-cast as Kang and Reed.

With Harper being best known for his nerdy neurotic character Chidi in A Good Place, a lot of fans think he would be a great fit for Marvel’s Smartest Man Alive. While it’s a shame that John Krasinski won’t be reprising his role from Doctor Strange 2, a lot of fans were already considering that it could have just been a one-off part for him.

Then again, all this Fantastic Four talk is just speculation. It’s possible Harper could be playing someone else completely, but we’ll just have to wait and see who. Some fans are thinking it’s someone close to Kang, but I have a feeling he could be someone else more important.
