Watch the Stranger Things Cast Recap the Events of the First 3 Seasons

Stranger Things 4 is almost here, and since it’s been a while since the release of the last season, Netflix has gathered the show’s main cast to give us a recap of the events all the way back from Season One.

With the Mind Flayer taking center stage as the main villain of Season 2 and 3, a lot of people are curious about who the villain for Season 4 will be. Though MF was more Lovecraftian and unknowable, teasers have shown a new face of the Upside Down, and it looks like he’s gearing up to finally crush the kids who’ve been meddling with their takeover after all these years.

Every season of the show has admittedly not been perfect, but showrunners the Duffer Brothers have managed to keep the story engaging, and homages feel fresh even if they were clearly borrowing from other material.

It also helps that the main cast of characters has always been fun to watch. Besides Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, there is also so much fun chemistry between all of the characters, be it the kids who we’ve seen grow throughout the show—or the adults who somehow have found themselves engaged in the kids’ Upside Down, fantasy horror shenanigans. I mean, poor Hopper found himself in Russia; so much for just trying to be a good dad.

Stranger Things returns to Netflix with the first half of its fourth season on May 27. The second half of season four comes out July 1.
