Watch the First 10 Minutes of The Batman

The Batman is probably one of the biggest DC films to come out in recent years, and the movie has just come to HBO Max. To promote the release, the first 10 minutes of the film introducing Riddler and Batman has been officially uploaded on Youtube.

While the praises of the film have been sung to no end, the intro really is one of the most memorable parts of the film. Not only do we get a chilling introduction for the Riddler, but we also get a good sense of Gotham and how the Batman character has all the criminals in the city spooked.

With Batman and Riddler two extremes of the same idea, it’s also pretty interesting that the intro scene was able to have characters mirroring each other, both with their introductions coming from the dark. It all builds up to a scene where they come face to face, and it’s made to look like Batman is literally staring into a mirror.

That’s cinema for you.

Batman ventures into Gotham City’s underworld when a sadistic killer leaves behind a trail of cryptic clues. As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans become clear, he must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued the metropolis.

The Batman is now available on HBO Max and theaters.
