Watch Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen Reminisce Their Time Making the Star Wars Prequels

Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor have come back for Disney’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and there have been a lot of callbacks to the prequels. After the release of the latest episode, we have a new video of Christensen and McGregor talking about their return to Star Wars and what it was like being cast in the Prequel Trilogy.
Watch this:
Admittedly, the interview is pretty tame. While we have several interviews of people just excited to work with Star Wars, we don’t have much of people talking about their experiences with the terrible members of the fandom. We know that the prequels were bashed when they hit theaters back in the early ‘00s, and it’s kind of amazing that everyone is being so nice to Christensen now.
I wonder when the cast of the Sequel Trilogy can say the same?
For now, Obi-Wan Kenobi is now looking at its last episode. While there has been a lot of praise being thrown at the show, I think the scale has definitely gotten smaller since we’re looking at a television series. Maybe it will feel different when you can binge everything at once? Personally, these weekly releases have just left me feeling constantly edged by Disney.
Rumors have actually been going around that a second season could be in store, but I think it would be better if they just went all out and gave us a movie instead. I mean, sure we’ve had 2 seasons of The Mandalorian, but not once did we get any level of spectacle as the one we got in Rogue One or Solo.
