Following last night’s Walking Dead mid season premiere, fans may well be asking exactly “What Happened, and What’s Going on?”
In an atypical installment, the first episode of the year bid a tragic and emotional farewell to Tyreese (Chad L. Coleman), in an episode that saw the gentle giant bitten in a surprise attack by a walker child.
Losing blood, and the will to carry on, Tyreese found himself visited by a number of ghosts in the form of some pretty cool cameos from the Governor, Beth, Lizzie and her sister Mika, and even Bob, as they each debated the pros and cons of life.
However Tyreese was discovered and saved by the gang, and for a time it seemed he might live. However, despite their intense efforts to save him, including Michonne’s cutting off of his arm, Tyreese finally gave up the will to live, devastating the group with his death.
