Under the Dome Season 2 Episode 2 “Infestation” : Barbie Risks His Life to Save the Town’s Food Supply

Under the Dome returns to CBS from June 30.

We’ve got some scoop on the show’s July 7 episode to share below.

In episode 2, “Infestation” Barbie risks his life to help Rebecca save the Chester’s Mill food supply when she discovers an infestation of butterfly eggs on the town’s crops.

Under the Dome tells the story of a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome.  The town’s inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from and if and when it will go away.

The series stars Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Dean Norris, Eddie Cahill, Alex Koch, Nicholas Strong, Colin Ford, Mackenzie Lintz, Karla Crome, Aisha Hinds, Natalie Martinez and Britt Robertson.  UNDER THE DOME is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Amblin Television.  Steven Spielberg, Stephen King, Neal Baer, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Stacey Snider, Jack Bender and Brian K. Vaughan are executive producers.
