Tribute: Best Stan Lee Cameos

Stan Lee, beloved creator of the Marvel comics, died on November 12, 2018 at the age of 95. We will miss his influence, input, and yes, those cameos. Marvel fans pride themselves on knowing Mr. Lee’s face and taking note of the cameo part he would play in every Marvel movie. His cameos became so iconic that he even started making cameos in non-Marvel movies, such as Teen Titans Go! To the Movies. 

Here, in no particular order, are my favorite Stan Lee cameos.

“Stop trying to scare us.” And he calls Thor “Blondie.” Heh.

This one was especially fun because it referenced an earlier cameo from Captain America: Civil War. Fans accept this as proof of the theory that Stan Lee has been playing the same guy in every cameo – just with a different job.

According to ScreenCrush, Stan Lee has already filmed a cameo for Avengers 4, and possibly several other upcoming Marvel films.

I hope there never comes a day when we see a Marvel movie without Stan Lee. Future Marvel movies should find a way to include a tribute with previously recorded footage or even drawings or photos. He was a brilliant man that will be long remembered by Marvel fans.
