Trailer for Netflix’s 2023 Slate Offers Look at Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon and More

Zack Snyder may not be making super hero movies anymore, but he has a good thing going with Netflix. This year, we’ll get to see Snyder’s version of Star Wars which has been titled Rebel Moon, and we have a small glimpse of the movie teased in Netflix’s 2023 slate.

Admittedly, there are a lot of great-looking films in the slate with some heavy-hitting actors like Chris Hemsworth, Gal Gadot, and Millie Bobby Brown, but you can tell that there was some kind of build-up to the reveal for Rebel Moon.

On first impression, I think a lot of the clips look like they came from Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, but I’m suspecting that we’re going to have a bunch of different terrains in the film. After all, it is a space movie.

While I am excited for Rebel Moon, I do hope that Snyder manages to brush up his storytelling skills. I mean, Army of the Dead looked fine, but damn could that script have been tweaked some more.

Rebel Moon is set to release in Dec. 22.
