Tom Holland is terrible at keeping secrets. Through news and memes, the notoriety of this fact about the actor became well known. In the latest movie, Avengers: Infinity War, Holland only knew about the parts that involved his character, Spider-Man. It is no surprise that he would do something like this knowing the blabbermouth that he is and since this film is about his character alone, maybe he does have the right to spill out the good stuff.
There are plenty of ways that Spider-Man could return from his death in the previous movie. Fan theories online suggest time travel. The remaining heroes could go back in time to change the outcome. While it did not adopt the story from the comics entirely, some elements of it could be used to undo the most recent changes. Maybe the reality gem was a convincing fake or something like that.
Holland posted a video on Instagram captioned “Sorry for no announcements, but I love you guys ♥️.” In the video, he apologizes to his fans about the lack of announcements then he reveals that he has the script. Here’s the actual post:
Not only does Tom give out fresh news; he holds up a tablet that previewed an image of the movie title. He is as intrigued as we are about how the story would pan out but it is happening. Another cast member, Jacob Batalon, confirms that he received the script as well. Here’s his tweet:

Jacob plays Peter Parker’s best friend, Ned. In contrast to what he said in Infinity War, it looks like he did not die after all. The other co-stars have not confirmed if they received their scripts yet, so it is best to stay alert. In the meantime, catching up on the previous movies as well as doing an advanced reading on these characters is highly recommended.
