The trip to the Asylum took its toll on the Titans. Because of their realizations, their leader decides to have them separate. One goes on a quest of soul-searching with the help of an old friend. Meanwhile, the others seek safety in an off-the-grid ancestral home. However, they find themselves reunited once again.
In this week’s episode of Titans, the team temporarily disbands. As Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) visits his old friend, Donna Troy (Conor Leslie), the rest of the team heads to Rachel Roth’s (Teagan Croft) ancestral home. However, Rachel’s attempt to help Koriand’r (Anna Diop) does not end well.
Sidekicks
Donna Troy (Conor Leslie) did not expect to meet Dick. Nonetheless, she welcomes him and takes him with her. Donna’s life changed ever since she stopped being Wonder Girl. Now, Donna is an investigative journalist. To her, she had done so much more good compared to when she was Wonder Girl. Thanks to her, Dick realized that he must become something more than either Batman or Robin. However, when Donna recognizes the strange text from Kory’s hideout, trouble heads to their direction.
Take Care
Rachel, Angela Azarath (Rachel Nichols), Kory, and Gar Logan (Ryan Potter) ride a train headed for Rachel’s Family’s ancestral home in Ohio. Kory experienced flashes of her memory come to her. Because of this, Kory becomes paranoid; she almost kills a passenger who looked at her intently. However, the passenger turns out to be a US Marshall who then reported her to the authorities.
As soon as the train stops, Kory reacts quickly. As Gar fetched Rachel and Angela, Kory dealt with the Authorities on their trail. Eventually, the four of them escape. Once they reach the house, Kory’s visions start to get worse, so Rachel offers to help her. At that same moment, Dick and Donna head to the house while Kory remembers her mission: Take care of The Raven.
‘Titans’ Season 1, Episode 8 ‘Donna Troy’ Final Verdict
The show did a perfect job in casting Conor Leslie for Donna Troy. Her role may be minor for now, but her character could be part of the final team, picking up her Wonder Girl costume once again. Also, we finally know why Kory is looking for Rachel. We may not have a clue about her origins yet, but what we know now is a good start; except for Rachel.
Titans continues on Friday, December 7th at the DC Streaming Service.
