TIMELESS “The Miracle of Christmas” Sneak Peeks: Christmas in North Korea
BY Jennifer Griffin
Published 6 years ago
Timeless is officially back on Dec. 20 with a special 2 hour event that will see our favorite time travellers venturing to 1948 California, and Korea during the winter of 1950, in their efforts to save Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) and reset the timeline.
When we last checked in on the team, they had suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of Rittenhouse, and particularly its new leader Emma (Annie Wersching).
With Rufus dead, and Wyatt’s pregnant wife revealed to be a Rittenhouse spy, the team barely escaped with Jiya (Claudia Doumit) back to the present day. However, their failure was abruptly turned on its head by the sudden appearance of future Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and Lucy (Abigail Spencer) who arrived to tell the team they have a way of finding and saving Rufus from his fate.

In the spirit of the holidays, we’ve got 4 new exclusive sneak peek clips from the “worst Christmas ever” (Rufus’ words, not ours!) to share with you below, along with NBC’s official loglines for the event.
As Christmas arrives in the Bunker, the Time Team is inspired by a visit from their future selves to find a way to try to save Rufus (Malcolm Barrett). But when the Mothership jumps to 1848 California, they’re forced to put those plans on hold and chase Rittenhouse back to the Gold Rush, where they encounter one of the era’s most dangerous villains.
Then chasing the Mothership to Korea in the winter of 1950, our team helps a stranded, pregnant refugee attempt to escape a tragic fate. Stuck with no way out, our team faces its toughest challenge yet, and in the process, come to terms with their feelings for each other.
Also starring Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Goran Višnjic, Sakina Jaffrey, Paterson Joseph and Claudia Doumit.
Guys, “Come to terms with their feelings for each other.”
Just sayin’.
