Thrones Star Headed to USA's Suits in New Recurring Arc

Per EW today, Game of Thrones star Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark) will make a move to Suits this season. Fairley has signed on to the slick lawyer drama from USA Network one day after her character exited HBO’s sweeping fantasy series.

Fairley will play British entrepreneur Ava Hessington, the head of a successful international oil company. Faced with an impending lawsuit that may cost her the family business, she comes to Harvey (Gabriel Macht) to see if he can help fight specific charges brought against her.

Fairley, who will make her debut in the July 16 premiere, is the second Thrones star to recur on the Show. Conleth Hill (Varys) had a large recurring role in season 2 as Edward Darby, the head of a rival British firm and the catalyst for discord between Harvey and Jessica (Gina Torres). Hill’s Darby is also set to return this season.
