Who has blonde hair, bulging muscles, and could technically be called the Thunder from Down Under? This week Shannon & Fadra profess their love for Chris Hemsworth and discuss the movie Thor: Ragnarok!
4:51 What are we watching?
- Shannon has finished both seasons of Broadchurch, a British crime drama on Netflix. The second season may even be better than the first. Watch it!
- Stranger Things: Shannon finished the second season in one day and Fadra is pacing herself.
- Fadra says this season of The Flash feels completely different than past seasons. It feels darker. What do you think?
- Once Upon a Time: Not loving the new season or the new cast.
13:14 Last movie seen?
- Meyerowitz Stories: Great cast (Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman) and good story about siblings dealing with their aging/ill father. Worth watching, but not as amazing as you’d think given the cast. Shannon was annoyed with the abrupt ending.
- Boo! A Madea Halloween: Shannon thought it was OK, kinda funny, but had a hard time understanding Madea. Fadra speaks black grandma. She suggests the Madea Christmas movie.
- Leviathan: Fadra’s son’s first R-rated movie… Shannon & Fadra discuss how different ratings were in the 80’s.
- Bad Moms Christmas: Fadra says it’s not destined to become a Christmas classic.
21:38 What’s coming up?
- Olivia Colman (Broadchurch) has been cast as Elizabeth II in the 3rd and 4th seasons of The Crown.
- Voyeur: December 1st on Netflix. Follows a journalist who reports on a motel owner who secretly watched his guests through specially designed ceiling vents.
