Things Get Crazy in Trailer for Rick and Morty Season 6

Yesterday we got a teaser for something called Wormageddon for Rick and Morty, but now Adult Swim has dropped the full trailer for the upcoming sixth season; and it features all of the trademark wackiness and meta-humor we can expect from the show.

While we don’t have any teasers for Evil Morty who a lot of people are assuming will have a presence in the next season, we do get a lot of different callbacks from other moments from the show. We get the return of Space Beth who could be getting another major episode about herself; plus it seems like Rick and Morty make a return to Blips and Chitz and play something close to that Roy: A Life Well-Lived game.

This is also curious, but we also have a lot of moments where it’s just Rick hanging out with Jerry. Besides the clip where we see Jerry wearing Morty’s clothes, but there’s also a clip of Jerry wearing glasses and a sweater; I’m guessing this could be a version of Jerry that’s more successful, but he’s still pretty wimpy like the show’s original Jerry.

With Evil Morty opening up the multiverse to realities where Rick isn’t the most powerful being, we should expect more things to challenge Rick’s ego in future seasons. We could jump right into it with Season 6, but I’m sure there’s room for some classic Rick and Morty shenanigans where we don’t have to think too hard about canon.
