The third and final week of “The Voice: Battle Rounds” is here! The aspiring singers continue to fight for their spot in the next level of the competition. By hook or by crook, each team will have to bid goodbye to some of their members. Find out who among your favorite contestants made it to the next round.
Team Blake: Kaleb Lee vs. Pryor Baird
Kaleb and Pryor have more similarities than differences. They both have a raspy voice that anyone would want to hear. So for them to impress the coaches and the audience, Kaleb and Pryor needed to do something big, unique and, different.
Kaleb and Pryor performed “Don’t Do Me Like That” by the Heartbreakers. Neither of them went home. Blake chose Pryor, but Kelly decided to steal Kaleb.
Team Adam: Mia Boostrom vs. Genesis Diaz
These girls are amazing! They almost had a perfect battle in “The Voice” because of the harmony they had while performing Kelly Clarkson’s “Because Of You.”
Mia knows how to seize control of her voice, and this is probably the reason why Adam chose her—even though Genesis had a more impressive and crystal clear head tone.
Team Kelly: Justin Kilgore vs. Molly Stevens
Kelly had to do a tough decision on this “The Voice” performance. Justin and Molly are both great singers so losing one of them is not as good as one thinks.
Justin and Molly sang “Burning House” by Cam. Although Molly performed well, Kelly chose to keep Justin. Justin could be a safer bet since he was a four-chair turner during the blind auditions. Molly, however, deserves a steal.
Team Adam: Miya Bass vs. Drew Cole
Miya and Drew have this similar rocker appeal, but they could also perform differently on “The Voice’s” Battle Rounds. They sang the Guns N Roses version of Bob Dylan’s “Knocking On Heaven’s Door.”
Adam decided to continue with his guy, Drew Cole. During Drew’s audition, Adam already said that he has the potential to be the winner so this must be the reason why Adam opted to choose Drew even if it’s evident that Miya performed much better than him. Kelly doesn’t want to waste the chance to help and coach Mia, so she stole her!
Team Blake: Jordan Kirkdorffer vs. Wilkes
Jordan and Wilkes are both country singers, so it’s their advantage when Blake chose a country song for them. The pair performed Chris Stapleton’s “Nobody to Blame.” Wilkes owned the song, but Jordan also put an effort to capture the gravity and grit of the song. Blake, however, chose to keep Wilkes since he has more to offer and he could be the key to Blake’s success in this season of “The Voice!”
Team Alicia: Britton Buchanan vs. Jaclyn Lovey
This is a battle between two fantastic teen singers. Britton and Jaclyn displayed their singing prowess to the coaches and the audience during their performance of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.” Alicia kept Britton, and Jaclyn went to team Blake!
“The Voice: Battle Rounds” continues Tuesday, March 27th at 8/7c on NBC.
