The Secret Circle Episode 1.02 Official Synopsis

Following on from a detailed series pilot last week, The CW has released an official synopsis of it’s second episode Bound, airing on September 22nd.

CASSIE ATTEMPTS TO HAVE A LIFE WITHOUT WITCHCRAFT BUT DIANA HAS DIFFERENT PLANS

In an effort to distance herself from the Circle and establish a normal teenage life in Chance Harbor, Cassie (Britt Robertson) befriends Sally Matthews (guest star Logan Browning), a non-witch.

Concerned their powers are getting out of control, Diana (Shelley Hennig) pushes everyone to bind the Circle, but Faye (Phoebe Jane Tonkin) is thrilled with the increase in her powers and refuses to participate, while Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) flirts with Nick (Louis Hunter) despite Faye’s warnings.

Meanwhile, Adam (Thomas Dekker) fights his growing feelings for Cassie, but circumstances continue to throw them together, forcing Cassie to make a decision. Gale Harold, Natasha Henstridge and Ashley Crow also star. Liz Friedlander directed the episode written by Kevin Williamson & Andrew Miller (#102).

Chevron One spoke with actor Adam Harrington (Ethan Conant) yesterday about the appeal of the show.

“I think people have always been attracted to the idea of unexplained things, including magic,” Adam said.  “Imagine waking up one day and finding out you have untapped powers, and your whole world isn’t what you thought. Who wouldn’t want to find out more!”

The Secret Circle premieres on Thursday September 15th at 9/8c on the CW.
