The Machine Is Calling the Shots in Person Of Interest’s Season 3 Premiere “Liberty”

First details on Person of Interest’s third season premiere have just arrived from CBS.
The September 24th episode, “Liberty” will see Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Shaw (Sarah Shahi) teaming up to find their next POI, a U.S. naval officer in town for Fleet Week.
However with so many sailors flooding the streets of New York City, finding the the officer in time presents an even bigger challenge.

Meanwhile, the Machine, now completely self-governed with its whereabouts unknown, resumes giving Finch (Michael Emerson) its “irrelevant” numbers for people in danger.
According to the report, Carter (Taraji P. Henson) has been demoted to a patrol officer as a result of her being set up by the corrupt police crime organization HR, and sets a plan in motion to eradicate them for good.
And Root (Amy Acker) tests the boundaries of her new asylum surroundings.
This season, Amy Acker joins the series as a cast regular, along with Sarah Shahi.
