For months, it’s been teased that the Flash will vandalize one of Batman’s costumes to make his own in the upcoming Flash solo film starring Ezra Miller, and while we don’t have a new trailer to showcase it, we do have some promo material that gives us a look at the DIY batsuit/flashsuit.
Check it:

Besides the thunderbolt logo on the chest, we can see that the entire suit has been painted red, with the ‘ears’ cut off to make it look less of a bat costume. It also looks like Barry has added some traffic stickers to the outfit to give it that more ‘speed’ vibe, and he has headphones on to make up for the lack of yellow on the cowl.
The suit looks wonderfully haphazard, and I absolutely love it. While superheroes always have their sleek final costume, I always love the rough versions of them, from Ironheart’s makeshift Iron Man outfit to Peter Parker’s homemade Spider-Man suit in Homecoming. We don’t know what Keaton Michael Keaton will look like in the film yet, but it would be great if they have him an updated version of his batsuit as well.
Despite problems with Ezra Miller online, it seems like early reactions to the Flash movie have been overwhelmingly positive. We don’t know what’s in store for the Fastest Man Alive onscreen, but I am eager to finally get the first solo movie after so many years of delays.
Catch The Flash when it speeds into theaters June 16, 2023.
