New set photos that have just been released online reveal Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will have a new suit in “The Flash” Season 4. This new suit is also presumed to be Barry’s new suit once he exits the Speed Force. During the season 3 finale of the show, Barry went head to head with Savitar, the self-proclaimed God of Speed. Savitar was also Barry’s evil version from the future. Team Flash was able to stop Savitar and convince Killer Frost aka Caitlyn Snow (Danielle Panabaker) to not be bad. However, a huge storm appeared over Central City and threatened to destroy it if the Speed Force doesn’t see a replacement for Savitar. This prompted Barry to sacrifice himself and entered the Speed Force, leaving the city safe but without its Scarlet Speedster.
Now, as CW’s “The Flash” Season 4 looms closer, details have been popping out at random. We already know that the premiere will be titled “The Flash Reborn,” and will pick up 6 months after Barry went into the Speed Force. We also know that season 4’s villain will be The Thinker (Neil Sandilands) and Kid Flash/Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) will have a different suit but won’t be the new Flash.
The newest detail to be revealed comes as Barry’s new suit—a suitable upgrade once he exits the Speed Force.
Barry Allen’s New Suit ‘The Flash’ Season 4
In a tweet posted by YVRShoots, Gustin was seen on “The Flash” Season 4 set sporting an upgraded version of his common red leather cowl. Compared to that previous costume, the new suit looks to be more leather-like with gold or yellow-like streaks accentuating “The Flash’s” upper torso. Gustin also posted a picture of his suit himself, revealing that those gold streaks would also appear on his boots. Check out the photos below:

In the previous seasons of “The Flash,” Barry has gone through a number of suit upgrades courtesy of Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes). Flash’s emblem has also received an obvious change in its appearance from a red and yellow combination to the current Flash logo, which is white and gold. However, this latest upgrade on Barry’s suit is the most faithful to its comic book counterpart. That being said, it’s unclear when we’ll get to see the new suit appear. Since the show has just started filming the entirety of season 4 this month, they are probably doing the fourth or fifth episode by now.
“The Flash” Season 4 premieres Tuesday, October 10th at 8 PM on The CW.
