Ted and Nate Face Off in First Look at Ted Lasso 3

Ted Lasso had been a surprise hit for Apple TV+, and the third season of the show is set to premiere this Spring.

Just in, we have our first image from the season, and it has Ted (Jason Sudeikis) facing off with former ally Nate (Nick Mohammed). Check it out:

We don’t have a story breakdown for Season 3 yet, but we can expect the series to pretty much pick up where it left off. Though Ted and AFC Richmond had won their game, managing to keep their spot in the league, we saw longtime assistant coach Nate moving over to West Ham United to coach for the enemy team.

Though Ted has managed to win with his optimism and coaching style, it’s actually Nate that’s the most experienced when it comes to the sport; albeit he has a strong attitude change the moment he starts getting some power.

Nate’s turn was certainly a surprise for fans of the show, but it does set up an interesting arc for him, seeing as he was once the softest character working on AFC Richmond’s side.

Of course, the clash between Nate and Ted is just one part of the show. We should also expect some interesting arcs for everyone else on the team, as well as the characters surrounding them. I’m sure a lot of fans are worried about the future of Roy (Brett Goldstein) and Keely (Juno Temple), but I think the series has worked too hard to bring them together to have them split up.

Ted Lasso’s third season comes back to Apple TV+ this Spring.
