First look images for The Strain’s third episode have landed, thanks to FX.

Ominously titled “Gone Smooth” the episode sees the team moving from disease control to damage control as the infected make themselves comfortable among the population.

Can Eph and his crew really hope to track and kill every last passenger on the plane?

Via FX, “Gone Smooth” sees Eph and Nora fighting to save Captain Redfern’s life before coming face-to-face with the horrifying effects of the virus.

Meanwhile, a spike in rat attacks signals Fet that something inexplicable is happening deep below the city.

Released from jail, Setrakian begins his own merciless plan to stop the spread of the disease.

The Strain stars Cory Stoll, Mia Maestro, Sean Astin, Kevin Durand, Natalie Brown, Jonathan Hyde Richard Sammel, Robert Maillet, Jack Kesy, Ben Hyland, Miguel Gomez and David Bradley.
