You never really know who to trust when it comes to terrorist networks. SIX picks up after a critical message makes its way to one of the Protagonists. Because of this, the SEALs finally get the chance they deserve as payback. With their last mission ending in shambles, the SEALs are hungrier than ever for a well-deserved victory. However, they might not know what their enemies have in store for them.
In this week’s episode of SIX, Agent Gina Cline (Olivia Munn) relays Michael Nasry’s (Dominic Adams) message to the government. As this new information prompts a rescue operation, the SEALs make their preparations. Before leaving for the mission, Joe “Bear” Graves (Barry Sloane) receives an unexpected visit from his wife, Lena Graves (Brianne Davis). Meanwhile, Alex Caulder (Kyle Schmid) chooses duty over his family as Ricky “Buddha” Ortiz (Juan-Pablo Raba) contemplates his decisions about Richard “Rip” Taggart’s (Walton Goggins) death.
Pre-Deployment Thoughts
Before the mission begins, Ricky spends some time with his family. However, he is distant towards them as he continually texts instead of talking to his family. As his wife, Jackie Ortiz (Nadine Velasquez) sends their children off to a different restaurant, she checks on Ricky. Ricky expresses his remorse over the fact that he cannot kill the man responsible for Rip’s death: Michael Nasry.
Meanwhile, Lena surprises Joe with an unexpected visit to his hotel room. At first, Joe fumbles over what to say. However, the past couple finds themselves attracted to each other once more, so they have sex. After this, Lena asks Joe about his thoughts on trying to have a baby again. While Joe gives her a vague answer, he continues to think about it until he falls asleep.
Back at Alex’s house, his daughter, Dharma Caulder (Lindsley Register) comes home and finds Alex working on a bike. Upon finding out that Alex got back in the team, Dharma lashes out at him. Disappointed with Alex’s actions, she decides to leave him. However, Alex does not follow after her, insisting that he needed to do the mission for himself.
The Mission
After gathering enough intel, the SEALs, led by their commanding officer Scott Hughes (Erik Palladino) and Agent Cline, travel to The Prince’s location. The long, uninterrupted drive made The Prince not suspect the attack, so when the SEALs come, he panics. As the SEALs infiltrated the former mining facility, The Prince could do nothing but run. Eventually, the SEALs rescue Andrew Hall (Ken Tremblett) from The Prince.
However, their fight is far from over. As the SEALs reached the exit, The Prince’s men ambush them, coming from the village. While Andrew Hall and the rest of the SEALs enter the helicopter, Armin ‘Fishbait’ Khan (Jaylen Moore) gets shot. Trevor Wozniak (Eric Ladin), who is covering for him, pulls him to safety. Seeing that two of his men are stuck, Bear decides to get off the chopper. Shortly after this, Alex follows after him. With limited ammunition and their courage as their remaining strengths, the four SEALs now fight for their survival.
SIX continues next Wednesday, August 1st, with “The Reckoning” at 10/9c on The History Channel.
