Also, the casualties of war that get in between the fight against terrorism gain the spotlight. Harsh realities that become of the chaos show how hard it is to be living and not taking any sides. Trying to defend your own family would cost you your life.

In this week’s episode of SIX, the SEALs cross the Russian-Chechnyan border to make the hostage exchange. Under the leadership of Joe “Bear” Graves (Barry Sloane), the SEALs hold their ground at the village. However, the villagers suffer considerable losses. Meanwhile, the Ortiz Family welcomes a new friend. Elsewhere, Alex Caulder (Kyle Schmid) is forced to reveal a secret to his daughter, Dharma Caulder (Lindsley Register).

History

As the SEALs cross the Russian-Chechnyan Border, the dwellers of the local village welcome them.  The village’s leader, Anzor (Pasha D. Lychnikoff) reveals that The Prince (Nikolai Nikolaeff) paid them to host the exchange. Unexpectedly, a local warlord named Halid (Ihar Lamaka) ambushes the village. The SEALs successfully hold their ground, but the villagers lose Anzor and a handful of men. As it turns out, The Prince sent Halid and his men to eliminate the SEALs. He wanted to take Agent Gina Cline (Olivia Munn) and Michael Nasry (Dominic Adams) alive.

History

Character development took it up a notch. Jaylen Moore’s character, Armin “Fishbait” Khan, shows nothing but kindness and integrity throughout the episode. Fishbait befriends a child named Bahadur (Anthony Sudra). Also, he withstands Michael’s attempts to coerce him into working with him. When it came to it, Fishbait acknowledges Michael’s defense of him as he gets injured during the ambush.

Another character that took a different turn is Eric Ladin’s character, Trevor Wozniak. Trevor’s insensitivity and his racism changes when he comes to Bahadur’s rescue. After Bahadur helps Ricky “Buddha” Ortiz (Juan-Pablo Raba) gain access to a machine gun, he takes up arms himself. Unfortunately, Bahadur gets shot. However, Trevor puts him out of harm’s way and has his father, Vazha (Raphael Kepinski). After the ambush, Trevor reports in, saying that they have one casualty. Trevor tells the team that Bahadur was indeed one of them.

Infiltration

Days after Jackie Ortiz’s (Nadine Velasquez) paranoid episode, Anabel Ortiz (Jessica Garza) decides to invite her new friend, Chloe (Katherine Evans), to dinner. At first, Jackie refuses. However, when Anabel reminds her of what happened in the parking lot, she agrees. They even have Lena Graves (Brianne Davies) join them for dinner. Their dinner hinted nothing but trouble for the family. What they did not know was that “Chloe” or Marissa is weighing her options. She is waiting for the right time to strike.

The idea of a harmless-looking teenager becoming a murderer sounds terrifying. Still, seeing how the world is today, it presents an alarming reality. No one can be too careful these days, especially the families of those who defend their countries. As gullible as the youth may be, they are a formidable force if swayed to work for the wrong team.

Unfit for Service

History

Alex Caulder might not make it back to his teammates. Ever since his exposure to an explosion during the premiere episode, he continually experienced migraines. When Alex passes out after shooting practice with Dharma, Dharma brings him to a neurologist, Dr. Moreno (Garfield Wilson). Unfortunately, Alex heard nothing but bad news. The brain trauma he sustained could be fatal if left untreated. Because of this, he has to tell Dharma about his injury. After that, they have to get it treated as soon as possible.

Sacrifice

Because of the Ambush, Gina decides to make a new plan. Gina released Michael in the hopes that he would fool The Prince into trusting him again. It would buy the hostage Andrew Hall (Ken Tremblett) more time. Also, if Michael killed The Prince, the CIA would keep his family safe and let him run The Prince’s kingdom. The appeal to power must have been tempting since Michael accepts it. Putting the plan into place is the hardest part.

SIX continues next Wednesday, July 18h, with “Scorpions in a Bottle” at 10/9c on The History Channel.
