After the Infinity Saga, it looks like Marvel has no intentions of slowing down. With Kevin Feige at the helm of all these upcoming films and TV shows, She-Hulk writer/producer Jessica Gao talks about how much she loves working with him.
Talking to THR, Gao explains how she would be amazed at collaborating with Feige, who would apparently let her ‘bully’ him despite his status as one of the biggest producers in the world. She says:
“Yeah, I probably fight with Kevin more than any person at Marvel, but it truly is a testament to what an egoless, wonderful person he is that he constantly puts up with me arguing with him. He really lets me bully him in a way. I’m very mean to him, and he really allows it. So it’s really nice because there is no other president of a studio who would really put up with me the way that he does.”
Though the other Marvel series have been criticized for their ‘formulaic’ nature, She-Hulk has been getting a lot of praise for it’s more unique take on the MCU—just make sure to ignore all the review-bombing that the show has been receiving from ungrateful nerds who are perpetually on the internet.
We don’t know where Gao wants to take the She-Hulk character in the future, but the series has made it clear that Jen isn’t so keen on jumping around and punching bad guys. Hopefully we get to see her pop-up some more in future MCU projects—even the films.
