She-Hulk: Captain America’s First Time was Kevin Feige’s Idea

Like many other Marvel fans, She-Hulk’s lead Jennifer Walters was obsessed with the notion of Captain America being virgin. Of course, the end-credits gave us an answer, but it’s funny to think who actually came up with the idea.
According to She-Hulk showrunner Jessica Gao, Steve Rogers losing his virginity to a girl during his USO tour was an idea from Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige. She tells Collider:
“… We started using it as a runner, Jen’s obsession with Captain America’s virginity, because she clearly has a crush on him. It was just a running gag throughout the entire first season. There are all these little moments where she’s clearly been pestering her friends, talking about this ad nauseam. It was just an obsession for her. And it was actually Kevin [Feige] who voluntarily said, ‘Let’s give them the answer.’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean? There’s an answer, and we can tell people?’ He was the one who actually pitched that. Kevin has such great ideas. I have multiple times tried to hire him in the writers’ room, but he politely declines. He has such great ideas, and that was his idea to answer that question. It’s canon because it came from Kevin.”
Though we did get one answer, it did bring up a lot more questions—specifically, “Who is this mystery woman that slept with Captain America?” While some think that it could have been any one of the girls travelling with Steve, others think that it could be the woman played by Laura Jane Haddock—who some speculate is Star-Lord’s grandmother. She shows up at 2:30:
We don’t know what else huge bombshells She-Hulk could have in store, but so far, the premiere has been strong, and has been pretty different from what the MCU has been delivering so far.
