She-Hulk BTS Photos have Tatiana Maslany Twerking with Megan Thee Stallion

Fans’ collective jaws dropped when She-Hulk: Attorney at Law had its titular character twerking with musician Megan Thee Stallion, and while we expect the whole thing to be put together with CG, Tatiana Maslany was actually there working it with Megan.

I guess what’s also funny about this scene is that it was actually Maslany’s idea to have She-Hulk twerking as well. Director Kat Coiro explained:

“The dancing was actually added to the script on the day because Tatiana was so excited, she’s the world’s biggets Megan Thee Stallion fan. We were like, ‘We got to give her something,’ and so they threw together this dancing scene.”

While I think the character of She-Hulk herself is pretty great, the show has been pretty rife with some cameos—from Mark Ruffalo reprising Hulk for the first episode, to the new development of Jen having to defend Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) and call Wong (Benedict Wong) to testify in court.

Marvel has provided us some more traditional superhero origins with series like Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel, but it’s actually kind of refreshing to have a completely new take on the genre, with Jen not even wanting to do any ‘superheroing.’ This ‘case of the week’ format is actually pretty fun, and I’m eager for a look into the legal repercussions that we don’t get to see happen in the films.
