SHADOWHUNTERS Season 1 Episode 13 PHOTOS: “Morning Star”

You can’t accuse Shadowhunters of failing to deliver this season.

Luke is a good werewolf, Simon’s a conflicted vampire, Izzy is on trial for her life, Alec and Jace’s bond is a ghost of its former self, Idris is under attack, and dead parents are popping out of the closet!

As much as we’ve been digging the show, we have to face facts. The finale is almost here, and that means no more Malec, Izzy, Clary, Jace and the gang. Of course, our sadness is softened somewhat by the recent season 2 renewal news and these just-released photos from “Morning Star”

Freeform teases that the April 5 episode will see Jace, still reeling from everything that has happened, making hunting down Valentine his number one priority, even though he continues to wrestle with his conflicted feelings.

Meanwhile, in hopes of finding a way to stop Valentine before it is too late, Clary and Simon must find the key to unlocking Jocelyn’s coma. But that key to unlocking Jocelyn’s spell may just undo the Downworlder peace treaty, Simon’s relationship with Raphael, and the Vampire clan in the process.

Also, Alec must deal with the aftermath of his decision and what his choice means for his future.

It’s all coming to a head on Tuesday April 5 on Freeform.
