Sex, Lies And Gardening Shears: 4 Sneak Peeks At Revenge’s ‘Forgiveness’

Sunday’s Revenge episode ‘Forgiveness’ sees Emily (Emily VanCamp) struggling to understand why her father (and Aiden, for that matter) lied to her about her Mother, Kara (Jennifer Jason Leigh).

While Aiden comes clean (or does he?) about his reasons for keeping quiet about who Kara really is, Emily tries to put her feelings aside and focus on their mission – which is essentially to destabilize Grayson Global with the expectation of flushing out the Initiative. However matters are soon complicated when Kara shows up at the hospital, reminiscing fondly and all too painfully about her daughter Amanda. It’s almost more than Ems can take!

And Emily is not the only one being tossed a Kara-bomb this week. The ex-Mrs Clarke pays an unexpected visit to the still-barely-Mrs Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) also, in what will probably go down as my favorite Victoria moment of the season to date. Taken unawares while pruning her roses (watch out for those Thornes, Vicky) one can’t help but wonder how much restraint went into not plunging those pruning shears straight into Kara’s back.
