NBC unveiled a pretty exciting new preview of upcoming Revolution episodes this weekend at Wondercon.
The generous clip, running at over three and a half minutes, showcases some of the season’s most shocking and action-filled moments including Nora’s (Daniella Alonso) capture by Monroe, some rekindled romance between Miles (Billy Burke) and Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Jason’s (JD Pardo) reaction to Miles’ threat to bash his ‘little boy band face’ in.
“What’s a boy band?”
Some of these clips have us particularly interested. Check out the tense scene featuring Charlie’s (Tracy Spiridakos) tussle with a Militia soldier who gets the better of her, causing her to call out in desperation for help. (It’s at about 1:08 minutes in.) We’ve replayed this moment several times and it appears that the name Charlie calls out is “Dad.”
We’re sure she doesn’t mean the deceased Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee), still seen throughout the series in flashback. Could it be that Uncle Miles is actually Charlie’s Dad? We’re fairly certain at this point that Rachel and Miles shared some manner of romantic past. It might also explain why Charlie is so hale and hearty compared to her sickly brother Danny. NBC also recently threw some titbits ourĀ way concerning episode 1.14 “The Night the Lights Went out in Georgia.” The episode is set to see the familial bond between Miles (Billy Burke) and Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) grow stronger. Thoughts?
However Daddy issues are the least of the Rebels worries as it looks like Nora will end up captured and turned over to Monroe (David Lyons.) Her capture seems to bring out the worst in Miles who resorts to a little kidnapping and torture of his own. Look out Neville family! We’re really hoping this event doesn’t see the loss of Daniella Alonso’s Nora from the show as we’ve been enjoying her no nonsense kickassery this season immensely.
Revolution airs Mondays 10/9c on NBC.
