Revenge Season 4 Poster Teases New Direction

Revenge’s fourth season is shaping up to be its most spectacular yet.
Returning on September 28, the series has effectively changed the ‘Revegenda’ landscape with the revelation that David Clarke is alive and well, and seemingly not the white knight his daughter assumed him to be.
Significantly, the latest promotional poster for the season ahead (see below) pits Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) against Emily (Emily VanCamp) openly, for the first time.
When we last saw Victoria, she was strapped to a bed in a mental institution, put there as the last play in Emily’s four year revenge plan.
While we’re sure she won’t stay a prisoner for long (especially now that she is aware of just how fully Ms Thorne insinuated herself into her family’s life and business and why) we can’t help but worry about the collateral damage this spectacular clash will bring to Emily’s nearest and dearest.
Let’s not forget that the season finale saw Jack (Nick Wechsler) implicated in Charlotte Grayson’s kidnapping, and the (apparent?) death of Conrad Grayson.
And closer to home, what will David Clarke’s status mean for Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann), his protege and Emily’s closest ally?
Sparks will fly Sunday Sept. 28th on ABC.
