Clint Barton’s story may be perfectly wrapped up with Disney+’s Hawkeye, but Jeremy Renner has one more show up his sleeve that isn’t all about jumping around and explosions.
Check out the trailer for Rennervations:
Here’s the official description for the series:
“Rennervations,” is an original four-part series that embraces Jeremy Renner’s lifelong passion to give back to communities around the world by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs.
Besides Renner himself, he’s also brought along some guest stars like Vanessa Hudgens, Sebastian Yatra, Anil Kapoor, and Anthony Mackie. While I’m not expecting Mackie and Renner to talk about the Avengers the whole time, it is fun that he managed to get the next Captain America to guest star in his show.
While home makeover shows are a dime-a-dozen, renovating trucks and buses to repurpose them as completely unique things is kind of an interesting premise for a show. We know that one of them is going to be a water-filtration truck and the other is going to be a roaming concert stage, but I’m curious what else Renner could do with some old busted-up buses.
After Renner’s accident in the New Year, it’s going to be great to see him up and running. Granted, he probably did this show before the accident, but maybe there’s some footage of him post-accident to help fans get updated on his condition.
Rennervations premieres on Disney+ on April 12.
