Red is Hit Man of the Year in New Blacklist Season 2 Poster & Clip

“Oh my God the suspense is killing me!” is perhaps one of Red Reddington’s very best lines from The Blacklist’s first season. (You can catch it all over again in the video clip below, but more on that in a moment.)
While we’ve pretty much felt the same way waiting for answers from last season’s finale, we’re happy to report that the show returns to NBC on September 22, and promises to dig back into the mystery surrounding the sinister Berlin (guest star Peter Stormare).
In fact, the season premiere “Lord Baltimore” will see Red facing not one but two opponents as a new threat, Lord Baltimore, heightens tensions all round.
But it’s not all doom and gloom. Mary Louise Parker is set to guest in the premiere episode as Naomi Hyland, an important person from Red’s past who happens to be hiding a dark secret from her husband. Naomi is set to shed more light on Red’s murky past.
Wait. With Red’s track record for keeping people safe, maybe it is all doom and gloom after all.
“Lord Baltimore” airs Monday September 22 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) on NBC.
In the meantime, we’re just loving this Youtube clip of Red’s season one kill count. Do you remember each of these foes? We think the clip is a perfect companion to NBC’s recently released “Hit-man of the Year” poster.
