Raven's Home Trailer: Raven's Son Inherits His Mom's Powers

We all know that genetics are really weird. But in Raven Baxter’s family, they are even weirder. It’s one thing for your kids to inherit your eyes, physical features, and even their parents’ personality traits. But in the latest trailer that just dropped fro Disney Channel’s “That’s So Raven” spinoff called “Raven’s Home,” it looks like the psychic adventures of the Baxter family is bound for more laughs and antics.

Going Back To The Psychic Roots in Raven’s Home

“Raven’s Home” offers up an all-grown up Raven Baxter (Raven Symoné) and Chelsea Daniels (Anneliese van der Pol) as they reprise their roles from the original hit Disney Channel series. In the first trailer, we’re shown a glimpse of what the characters have all been up to and a look into their lives, complete with a couple of hilarious moments and one with an impressively creative spin on tennis.

It follows the story of Raven’s son, Booker, who reveals to his mom that he has seen the future (albeit him being shut down by Raven before he even says it). The flash-forward tendency to see what the future holds indeed runs in the Baxter family.

Booker and Nia (his twin sister), appear to have also taken from their mom the sass and silliness that Raven is known to have. The preview clip also gives us a new look at where the show picks up from “That’s So Raven.”

However, there’s no sign of Devon Carter in the teaser (and Cory? and Lionel? and Eddie?) but it’s been confirmed that he’s going to return to the spinoff series as Booker and Nia’s dad. We still have a long way to go before we even have psychic powers here, so we’ll just have to wait and see what else is in store for Raven’s new series.

“Raven’s Home” premieres July 21 on Disney Channel. Watch the trailer below:
