'Raven's Home' Opening Credits Released, Theme Song Features A Catchy Tune

Raven (Raven-Symoné) is finally back home and she’s singing again! With less than two weeks left before “Raven’s Home” arrives, the Disney Channel has released its opening credits, along with the show’s theme song. It’s so catchy, you’ll be stuck with the tune for a couple of hours!

For diehard “That’s So Raven” fans, this comes as a welcome treat. Not only is Raven back but she’s at it again with Chelsea (Anneliese van der Pol). The new opening credits and theme song also features the pair’s kids: Navia Robinson, Isaac Ryan Brown, Jason Maybaum and the typical best friend-type Sky Katz. They also performed the song that written and produced by Andy Love, Joacim Persson, and Johan Alkenäs.

Raven’s Home Timeline

“Raven’s Home” picks up several years after “That’s So Raven,” with the titular character now a single mom to her two 11-year-old twins, Booker (Brown) and Nia (Robinson). They’re all living together in one house with Chelsea and her 9-year-old son Levi (Maybaum). Tess (Katz) is the show’s balancing factor, being the best friend slash neighbor slash mischievous partner to the kids. And since Raven is a psychic, Booker seems to have inherited his mom’s power, making things even more exciting for “Raven’s Home.” Jonathan McDaniel reprises his role as Devon Carter, Raven’s now ex-husband and father to her kids. In “That’s So Rave,” he was Raven’s boyfriend from season 2 to 4.

There is no confirmation yet if Raven’s family, Corey (Kyle Massey), Victor (Rondell Sheridan), and Tanya (T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh) will be appearing in the spin-off series.

In the pilot episode, Booker asks Levi and Tess for help in convincing his sister that he now has the power to see into the future. Meanwhile, Raven too has a vision where she sees her family in a disagreement, leading her to meddle with the school life of her kids.

“Raven’s Home” premieres Friday, July 21st at 10 PM ET on Disney Channel.
