Otis, Maeve, and More Return in First Images from Sex Education 4

A lot of original series had found themselves on the Netflix chopping block, but Sex Education has managed to stay for one more season. Just in, we have a first look at some returning cast members for Sex Ed 4.

Check out Maeve, Otis, Ruby, and series newcomer Dan Levy (Schitt’s Creek):

We don’t know specifically what role Levy is playing in the show, but I have a feeling that he’s going to be Maeve’s teacher in America. It’s also possible that Ruby and Otis could find themselves together again, since Ruby kind of unceremoniously dropped him after he refused to return her feelings.

 Though the door was finally open for Maeve and Otis to be together in the finale of Season 3, Maeve’s acceptance into American program has driven another wedge between the two. Oddly enough, Otis is written to be a very positive-masculine character, so he’s fully supportive of Maeve going. I just wonder what it will be like when the two are reunited again.

While the series could be very graphic when it comes to its depiction of sex among teenagers, the series has been receiving a lot of critical praise for its sex-positive message and its ability to address multiple facets when it comes to the topic of sexuality. It’s unclear when the series plans to end, but I have a feeling it could be when the kids will graduate from Moordale. I mean, they can’t be in high school forever.

No release date has been announced for Sex Education Season 4.
