In the 89 years of Oscars history, this year has turned out to be quite comical and at the same time heart-melting. Last year, it was Leonardo DiCaprio who stole the show with his ‘finally’ moment winning the Best Actor. This 2017, The Oscars’ meticulous process for announcing the award winners was overlooked in the last minute. It seems as though Steve Harvey’s iconic moment is creeping its way into every big event.

But enough about that little thing, there were also cute moments that you can’t miss:

Andrew Garfield’s gaze on his ex-girlfriend Emma Stone

Emma Stone won her first Oscar for best actress in the famed musical “La La Land.” She looked every inch as glamorous with her twinkling golden Givenchy dress. As fabulous as this award was for the “La La Land” actress, no one seemed to be more proud than her ex-boyfriend and best actor nominee Andrew Garfield. The look on his face said it all.

What could it mean? Longing? Pride? Happiness for an old friend?

He was also spotted giving his old flame another standing ovation the moment her name was called out. This isn’t the first time Andrew openly expressed his support for Emma Stone because he did the same at the Golden Globe Awards on January- he was the only one standing for her when she won Best Actress in a Musical Comedy/Motion Picture.

Nominated for Best Actress for her film  “Florence Foster Jenkins,” 67-year-old Meryl Streep has not lost her glow. Nor did she lose her sweetness. And Ryan Gosling had the chance to bask in that goodness.

During a commercial break, the “La La Land” lead actor was struggling with his bow tie. Not to worry, though, because Meryl Streep came sweeping in in her white gown. The actress looked like an angel sent from Heaven, off to rescue handsome actors against uncooperative bow ties.
