Besides Stranger Things, another hit show that’s been on Netflix has been Sex Education. While everyone waits for the release of the fourth season, one cast member won’t be making it back.
Talking to Capital XTRA, Patricia Allison, who plays Otis’ ex Ola, has confirmed she won’t be returning for Season 4 of Sex Education. Here’s her interview:

“I have absolutely loved being on Sex Education so so much and played Ola, but unfortunately I won’t be joining the team for Season 4. So sorry to have to break it to you guys.”
Though Allison won’t be in the next season, she has confirmed that she has found something else to work on. She says, “I’m just going to be doing some other little thing—some other opportunity’s come up.” Since Ola has pretty much been a supporting character when it comes to the show, I think Allison found another project where she’ll actually have more of a major role.
We don’t know how Sex Education will write Ola off, but maybe there’s a way for her to come back in the next season in one way or another. After all, Jakob (Mikael Persbrandt) still seems to be an essential part of the show, and it wouldn’t make sense for us not to know where Ola is going to be if he’s sticking around.
No release date has been announced for the next season of Sex Education, but you can catch three seasons currently streaming on Netflix.
