It hasn’t even been a week since the finale of The Book of Boba Fett, but Disney is already hyped to promote the next Star Wars D+ entry. Just in, we have the first teaser poster for Obi-Wan Kenobi, and it also comes with a release date.

The poster doesn’t really give much to work on besides Obi-Wan on Tatooine, but we do get the official release date for the premiere which is on May 25.
For now, no official plot has been revealed for Kenobi, but we do know that the series will focus on Obi-Wan’s (Ewan McGregor) story after the events of Revenge of the Sith and before the Death Star is destroyed in A New Hope.
Some guess that the story will involve Sith Inquisitors on the hunt for a young Luke Skywalker, and it’s Obi-Wan’s job to keep them off his scent. Things just get worse when Kenobi realizes that Darth Vader (Hayden Christenen) is on his tale as well, and wants a rematch for the events of RoTS.
Besides McGregor and Christensen, the series has also confirmed other cast members Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Erskine, Benny Safdie, and O’Shea Jackson Jr. No official roles have been confirmed, but we do know that Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse will be reprising their roles as Owen and Beru Lars from Attack of the Clones.
Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long before we get our first trailer. Watch out for Obi-Wan Kenobi when it premieres on Disney+ on May 25.
