Nicolas Cage is ‘The Dark One’ in New Clip from Renfield

Nicolas Cage has been on a hot streak lately with films like Pig and The Enormous Weight of Massive Talent, and now he’s set to play one of cinema’s most iconic monsters with the movie Renfield.

Just in, we have a new clip from the movie with Cage’s Dracula introducing himself to Renfield’s (Nicholas Hoult) support group. Watch this:

The clip has pretty much been contextualized by previous trailers, and we have Dracula really hamming up his introduction. Despite Cage being teased for not being a great actor, I really love watching him just play the role and seemingly having fun.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t expecting some kind of superhero action film, but it looks like Renfield is still going to have some fun with its characters just based on this clip.
