Apple TV+ is set to release their series WeCrashed this month, and it follows the story of the couple behind the WeWork, Adam and Rebekah Neumann, and how they grew and crashed a company worth billions. Now a week before the premiere, Hulu has released a trailer for their WeWork documentary called WeWork: Or the Making and Breaking of a $47 Billion Unicorn.
Watch this:
Exploring the rise and fall of one of the biggest corporate flameouts and venture capitalist bubbles in recent years – this is the story of WeWork and its hippie-messianic leader Adam Neumann who makes you beg the question, was he trying to create a cult?
Though the documentary is set to come out in April, we do get a chance to follow the story of WeWork earlier, starting next week. Here’s the trailer for Apple’s WeCrashed:
With the cult leader image that Neumann was gaining with his followers, you kind of realize that casting Jared Leto to play him in the series was a case of meta-casting. While I don’t expect the documentary to be just as intimate as the series, it’s going to be fascinating to hear all the stories of the people who had been working directly with Neumann and was there when the company rose and fell.
WeWork: Or the Making and Breaking of a $47 Billion Unicorn premieres on Hulu on April 2, you can catch WeCrashed on Apple TV+ on March 18.
