New Teaser for House of the Dragon Episode 6 Features a Huge Time Jump

House of the Dragon has been jumping through years ever since it premiered, but the next episode will have the biggest skip yet, with completely new actors playing the parts of Rhaenyra and Alicent. Now HBO has dropped a new teaser for Episode 6, and it features the Targaryen family years after the marriage of Rhaenyra and Laenor.

As we can see, the Targaryen children have clearly grown, and I’m sure some fans are getting Joffrey Baratheon flashbacks with the child saying “Dracarys” with a devlish smile.

We can also see that King Viserys has greatly deteriorated when it comes to his health. We’ve seen him slowly getting weaker throughout the course of the series, but it seems that he won’t be able to walk on his own anymore by the time of this upcoming episode.

It’s actually kind of sad to see Viserys slowly die like this, seeing as he’s pretty much the Ned Stark of the show who has been trying to do the noble thing to the best of his abilities. But the thing about Game of Thrones is, having the right moral compass isn’t enough to actually survive till the end; and Viserys impending death will result in the war that Otto Hightower has clearly foreseen. Let’s just hope that everyone’s favorite characters will be ready to play the game once it all goes to shit.
