New Stranger Things Featurette Delves Into Evolution of the Series

It’s been a month since the finale of Stranger Things 4, and Netflix is still riding on the hype around the show. Just in, we have a new featurette taking a look at the evolution of the series since it debuted back in 2016.
Check this out:
It really is kind of bizarre to realize that it’s been six years since the series first debuted. Though the show started with all of the Hawkins gang in their preteen years playing Dungeons & Dragons and riding around on bikes, the current cast has now breached the age of 20 and are young adults before we knew it.
While a lot of shows fizzle out toward the end, Stranger Things creators the Duffer Brothers seem to have it all down—with the series set to end with the final season in 2024. While the fourth season has given us some exposition as to Vecna and his role in the Upside Down, the entire alternate dimension is still a mystery, and the last season seems to hint that time travel could be involved with the next season.
With the series having covered previous material like ET, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Terminator, The Thing, and most recently, Nightmare on Elm Street, I’m actually eager to watch them fool around and draw inspiration from another property like Back to the Future.
I mean, they don’t have to, but it would be great if they found out a way how.
Catch Stranger Things now streaming on Netflix.
