Better Call Saul returns this week, and this will probably be the last we see of the Breaking Bad universe for a long while. To commemorate the premiere, we have a new authentic Saul Goodman commercial which is selling another bogus product.

Besides Bob Odenkirk coming back to do the awfully cheesy commercial, the mention of ‘Ice Station Zebra Associates’ is pretty interesting since Saul does mention that company in his very first appearance in Breaking Bad. Besides that, there’s a breakdown of the different scams that Jimmy participates it when it comes to the series—going back to the twins that we meet in Season One.
The first half of the final season had left us with a huge cliffhanger, with Lalo Salamanca returning and gunning down Howard Hamlin for nothing. We don’t know how Jimmy and Kim are going to deal with this, but besides hiding the body, they’ll have Lalo and the rest of the Salamanca clan to deal with.
Though we know where everything ends up by the time of Breaking Bad, there is still a lot of tension with the series—specifically when it comes to the fate of Kim Wexler. While the show is pointing to the direction of her getting killed of Jimmy and her splitting up, I think that showrunners Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould have something else in mind that will still feel organic yet shock audiences the way the show always has.
