Hawkeye may have gotten the spotlight last December, but now Disney+ is ready to jump into some obscure Marvel territory with the upcoming Moon Knight. We don’t have a new trailer yet, but we do have some promo art that gives us a great look at Oscar Isaac’s MCU hero.

With Moon Knight’s origin drawing from Egyptian mythology, you can kind of understand the Mummy-inspired design, with MK covered in bandages. They even try to emulate some classic comic covers with Moon Knight’s cape taking the shape of a crescent moon.
Funnily enough, there are some comic fans that have criticized Moon Knight for just being a Batman ripoff, but the character does have a special hook in the sense that he’s multiple identities sharing one body. Though Oscar Isaac plays the hotshot hero in Star Wars, he’s going to have to tap into his more crazy side when it comes to Marc Spector (or anyone of his other personalities).
Going back to the costume, I think that we’re going to get a more modern look by the end of the first season; but this version we’re getting in the trailers does give off the vibe of an ancient kind of superhero, which is still pretty neat.
The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
Catch Moon Knight when it premieres on Disney+ on March 30.
