Sylvester Stallone had a small role as Stakar Ogord a.k.a. Starhawk in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but he’s set to come back for the third movie with his own roster of high-ranking Ravagers. In a new clip from Guardians Vol. 3, we have a brief look at Starhawk’s comic inspired outfit.
Check this out:
We only see a brief glimpse of it, but it does come with a helmet, and it does seem that the bands around the shoulders also serve a purpose. Though he didn’t look as decked out as this in Vol. 2, we do get to see his costume still have the shoulder bands incorporated into his regular Ravager outfit.
The last we see of Stakar, he participates in the funeral of Yondu, and gathers a team of Ravager friends to ‘steal some shit.’ We don’t exactly know how he factors into the story, but Quill’s branch of Guardians still use the Ravager symbol, so it’s possible the could be considered their own extension of Ravagers.
I have a feeling that the Sovereign will be back, as well, and it’s possible they could be pitting Adam against Stakar in this upcoming third film to really give us an idea of how powerful he is. Then again, that’s just my guess.
Here’s the synopsis for the movie:
Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill rallies his team to defend the universe and one of their own – a mission that could mean the end of the Guardians if not successful.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 comes to theaters on May 5.
