Unexpected Arrivals Set to Throw Loft into Disarray in New Girl’s “Exes” & “Sister”

Still got warm fuzzies over that “I love you” in New Girl’s Super Bowl episode?

Well we’ve got some fresh scoop on a couple of upcoming episodes that will find the loft mates in less happy circumstances. Both “Exes” and “Sister” will find the gang coping with the disarray a blast from the past causes through an unexpected visit.

In “Exes,” airing Tuesday, Feb. 4,  Nick experiences an awkward run-in with his ex, Caroline (guest star Mary Elizabeth Ellis).

Jess attempts to convince him he can still be friends with her by introducing him to her former boyfriend, Berkley (guest star Adam Brody of The O.C.).

Meanwhile, according to the latest from FOX, the episode will also see Coach using Schmidt’s loft to impress a date, but things turn farcically disastrous when Schmidt arrives home with his own potential bedmate!

Then in “Sister,” airing Tuesday Feb. 11, Jess’ wild-child sister, Abby (guest star Linda Cardellini of Mad Men fame), pays Jess a visit and immediately throws the loft into disarray.

Elsewhere we are told, Schmidt enlists Nick to be his wingman in crashing a bar mitzvah and Winston throws a dinner party with Bertie (guest star Jessica Chaffin), which turns awkward when only Cece and Coach attend.

New Girl stars Zooey Deschanel as Jess; Jake Johnson as Nick; Max Greenfield as Schmidt; Lamorne Morris as Winston; and Hannah Simone as Cece.

Damon Wayans, Jr. guests as Coach.
