New Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Featurette has More New Footage

January is almost ending which means that we’re getting closer to the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania—which is the start of MCU Phase 5. Just in, we have a new featurette giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the film, including some great new footage.

“We always love doing the unexpected with Scott Lang,” says Marvel head Kevin Feige. “Ant-Man is arguably the character that is most underestimated. Ant-Man became the key to saving the universe in Avengers: Endgame, so carrying that tradition, we thought, ‘Well, let’s use this tradition to kick off Phase 5.’”

With the relationship between Scott and his daughter Cassie being integral in both Ant-Man movies, this third one looks to be putting the pair together; and it will probably also be building up Cassie’s status as young Avenger Stature.

Besides the expected action parts, I always loved how the films played around with Hank Pym’s ability to shrink and grow things. We’ve seen Hank keep a collection of cars for a speedy getaway with his shrinking tech, but this is the first we’ve seen him pull a Back to the Future 2 and save money by just enlarging food.

You’d think the rest of the world would want that access to technology. How about shrinking some of the garbage landfills and fixing the pollution problem, Doctor Pym?

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to release in theaters on Feb. 17.
