‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 4 Episode 15 Recap Isler’s Past Revealed, Percy Saves His Life

“NCIS: New Orleans” agent Sonja Percy goes undercover with FBI Special Agent Raymond Isler. The FBI agent finds himself in trouble that prompted him to turn to his friend NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride. The two and the rest of the NCIS NOLA team investigate an off-the-book case that is also connected to one of their cases.
Agent Pride (Scott Bakula) finds out that Isler (Derek Webster) is in town when he gets a call that the FBI agent has been arrested for being involved in a shoot-out. Apparently, Isler failed to identify himself as a federal officer so Pride detects that there is something going on.
Isler tells the team that he needs their help in a case that he couldn’t turn to the FBI. He manages to find a connection between the several robberies of armored vehicles to series of opioid thefts but couldn’t get anyone in the FBI to believe him so he turned to Pride. The case, however, has to be off the books. The NCIS could be involved because it is connected to one of the team’s case.
Navy Petty Officer Walsh had died of an overdose a few weeks ago. Pride could open an investigation into how Walsh got his hands on the drugs. Isler believes it is connected to his armored trucks robberies.  He said the trucks are part of the opioid crisis that Isler believes to involve a $30 million drug ring.
Isler has identified one of the drivers used in the heist. He got injured in the shoot-out with Isler. At first, Isler threatened the driver but it did not work. He then applies pressure on the man’s injured arm and tells him that they will hold off calling a doctor for him. Pride plays along and the two pretend that the driver could lose his arm if a doctor will not arrive in time. The driver finally agreed to set up a meeting between Isler and the men in charge of the heists.

Isler wants to go alone but Pride disagrees. Percy (Shalita Grant) convinces Isler that she can go and he would die without her. The two went on to meet Cranston. Unfortunately, Cranston is not the one running things for the group. He is just there to test Isler and Percy before they will be given a job. The job is for someone named Charlie and he only talks to Cranston through a satellite phone. The job is that they have to make a drop but they ran into some cops before they could make it to Charlie. Cranston was shot and died.
The team decided to use Cranston’s phone to follow the direction on where to meet Charlie. Isler and Percy went to the woods and they waited until they saw the black car pulled up. A man steps out of the car and it is Charlie, who is also former FBI Agent Driscoll, Isler’s former fellow agent. The ex-federal agent used to run down opioids.
Driscoll pulls out his gun and tells Isler that he had switched sides because the FBI did not appreciate him. He tried to shot Isler but missed because of Percy. Driscoll made it to his car but come across the NCIS team. Driscoll eventually run off the road and died.
Isler is heading back to Washington, DC. But before he goes, he also warns Pride that whoever is after him in Washington was still out there and that person wants to get rid of Pride. “NCIS: New Orleans” Season 15 airs every Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
