Namor Takes Flight in New Trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

We had watched T’Challa struggle with being the king in the first Black Panther, but this second film will have another king of a hidden city coming to the spotlight. Namor of Talocan is set to clash with the country of Wakanda, and we have a new trailer showcasing this other ruler of the MCU.
Watch this:
While it would have been great to see the two kingdoms clash with one another, the death of T’Challa actor Chadwick Boseman and the decision to incorporate it into the film has left Wakanda without a leader, and it seems that we’re going to be spending a good chunk of the film wondering who will be the next to take up the Black Panther mantle.
Though the most obvious choice is T’Challa’s sister Shuri, some are guessing that the next Black Panther could be T’Challa’s love interest Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), who is also a capable fighter in her own right. I guess the only thing we do know for sure is that this movie’s BP is going to be a woman.
I’ll admit, there is a lot of pressure for this movie from multiple fronts. On one hand, it has to properly send off the character of T’Challa; and on the other, it still has to be an entertaining film. Director Ryan Coogler has been left with an impossible task, but I am hoping that he manages to pull it off when Black Panther: Wakanda Forever comes to theaters on Nov. 11.
