Just in case you haven’t checked the series out, The Offer follows the story of producer Albert S. Ruddy (Teller) as he is tasked with adapting Mario Puzo’s The Godfather. The series features a lot of real-life people as characters like director Francis Ford Coppola and star Al Pacino.
The series has received a lot of critical praise when it released, and some say that it truly elevates the original Godfather. Some great films have great stories about how there were made, and The Offer definitely shines a light on how exactly The Godfather changed the crime genre when it comes to cinema.
Here’s the official description for Paramount’s The Offer:
THE OFFER is based on Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy’s extraordinary, never-revealed experiences of making “The Godfather.” The series stars Miles Teller as Albert S. Ruddy, Matthew Goode as Robert Evans, Juno Temple as Bettye McCartt, Giovanni Ribisi as Joe Colombo, Dan Fogler as Francis Ford Coppola, Burn Gorman as Charles Bluhdorn and Colin Hanks as Barry Lapidus.
The Offer is now streaming on Paramount+.
